I double checked the old machine to compare the following files fwanalog.sh
fwanalog.opts (from fwanalog.opts.openbsd3) /etc/analog.cfg

the only change that was made to fwanalog.opts was the $outdir permissions on $outdir
drwxrwxrwx 4 root wheel 1024 May 22 10:21 logs

packages installed on OpenBSD 3.7 box
